“Curious how we aquire wisdom!
Over and over again, the same truth is thrust under our very noses.
We encounter it in action;
we are admonished by it;
we read it in the written word.
We suffer the experience;
we gradually assent to the advice;
we approve, intellectually, the written word.
But nothing happens inside of us.
Then, one day,
some trivial experience or word or encounter stops us short.
A gleam of illumination penetrates the depth of our consciousness.
We see! Usually it is but a glimpse;
but on rare occasions a brilliant flash reveals truth fully formed.
And we marvel that this understanding has escaped us so long.”

This quote was just what I needed to hear today. May it inspire you as well.

I was recently asked to write an article for a new magazine which talks about marketing, internet marketing and how to win in these areas. This is an area that I have been studying and doing a mentorship program in for about a year. I am really excited to link you to that magazine. My article is about enrolling customers through body, mind, heart and soul (my specialties). There are many other great articles in there as well.
The magazine is Engage Magazine.
I have provided a link for your to learn more about this wonderful magazine and read the empowering articles; articles the will move you forward in your business, whether it is a small in-home business or a larger scale business. This magazine gives you great strategies to help your enterprise grow and be a successful entrepreneur.

Another satisfied client!
When I first started working with Annette Pieper, I
had a goal to get fit. I had a knee injury that
plagued me, and kept me from extensive training, as
well as impeded many sports I would try or do. I just
wanted to feel and be strong! Within 6 weeks of
working out with Annette’s plans and instructions, I
found my body toning, my strength increasing, and my
knee progressively more flexible! Beyond the
exercises, Annette encouraged me to find the mind-body
connection that would allow my thoughts and intent to
flow in conjunction with my body and strength goals. I
found myself having much more energy, vitality, and
vigor. Her methods of personal training moved beyond
the physical body into the whole person, and helped
not only to restore my body and my mind to its
original strength, but far beyond it!
I am deeply grateful for the work I did with Annette,
and her personal instruction, which brought my mind
and body back into harmony, and back into strong,
physical activity.

Yesterday I had a wardrobe crisis. As I mentioned in my last post, I recently had surgery and have had several complications associated with this surgery. I have been on several rounds of antibiotics, steroids and have laid around for 4 weeks with no energy or desire to do anything, sometimes barely able to walk to the kitchen let alone prepare healthy food for myself or exercise. I have been really ill.
Yesterday when I went to dress for work, I picked out a cute outfit and put it on. I couldn’t get the zipper up on the skirt. Frustrated I found another skirt to throw on and I broke the zipper getting it up over my hips. All of the medications and inactivity over the past month has taken its toll on my figure.
I shuffled through my closet feeling desperate with not much time to spare before I needed to be at the office to work with clients. I finally found a skirt with an elastic waist and threw it on. To my surprise, it looked pretty good with the top I was wearing. Once I put my boots on I looked pretty good.
Not that many years ago this situation , which felt really bad, would have sent me into a total melt down. Depression would have set in as I felt sorry for myself and beat myself up. Now, I sat at the kitchen table and asked myself “What’s really great about this situation?”. I decided that what was great is that I have found a great new wardrobe combination that I never would have paired together otherwise. I also knew that it was a great motivator to get back to the gym and get my energy and body back from my health challenge. I felt the energy shift immediately from despair to joy.
When I got to the office, the first person who saw me commented on what a cute outfit I was wearing and how nice I looked. See! A shift is attitude and mindset works wonders.
When you are caught in a not so great situation, ask yourself what is really great about it. You will be amazed at the shift. Remember, there is always a gift.

I just read an article in the Science of Mind magazine about allowing ourselves to let the creative side of us shine. I could totally relate to this article. I recently had surgery and have had a series of complications associated with it. I have been tired, with low energy and have been feeling as if I had slipped into a bit of a funk. There is so much that I want to do yet have been feeling no energy to do it.
So today I am going to heed the author of that articles advice. I am going to break it up and do something different. I recently bought a fitness hula hoop and today it comes out of the box and into the gym where I will have plenty of room to do some hooping. This is definately a step out of my normal fitness routine and something which I have had the desire to do for quite some time.
What can you do today to bring out the creative side of yourself? What can you do to allow the uncensored child to step in for an hour and allow yourself to create? What creative call will you heed today?

We have been bombarded with messages to think positive, to think about what we want, to think, think, think. How about thinking with the end in mind. What is it that you want to create? Now that you have a picture in your mind of what you want to create in your life, live from the outcome as if you already have it.
Today I watched the movie ‘The Music Man”, which is one of my all time favorites. Professor Harold Hill puts together a boys band and teaches them the think system. The think system is a system of living from the outcome. I found it interesting that a movie I have watched so many times throughout my life, carries a message that is so powerful and I am just now recognizing that in the movie (although I haven’t watched it in many years). Amazing!
Live from the outcome, regardless of your current results and circumstances. Engage in “The Think System”. It’s all about creating a mindset of possibilities.

Here is a quote from film-maker Nic Askew from http://www.monday9am.tv
“A thought just occurred to me.
What if the word inspire was really about the ability of a something to draw out the spirit that already exists within a someone.
Rather than fill that someone with ideas & opinions about who they could or should become.”
Aha!!! Powerful!
